Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments; verify quantities and quality.
• Prepare, package, and document outgoing shipments.
• Coordinate freight pick-ups and deliveries.
• Use ERP system (Spire) to track inventory, shipments, and receipts.
• Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas.
• Communicate with carriers and suppliers to resolve shipping issues.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock management.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous shipping/receiving experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Spire experience an asset).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials safely.

• Set up and adjust machines for gear and spline cutting operations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications.
• Ensure proper tooling, fixtures, and materials are available for production.
• Troubleshoot setup-related issues and support operators during production.
• Work with lead hands to optimize setups for efficiency.
• Maintain equipment and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in machine setup in a manufacturing environment required.
• Knowledge of gear cutting processes strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
