Here are some of the services we offer:
Gear Grinding
True Gear primarily utilizes our Kapp Niles ZP 12 to grind gears of up to 1250mm in diameter and 1000mm in face width. With these CNC machining capabilities, we are able to offer rush delivery when required and produce high quality gears up to AGMA Class 14. This machine can grind spur, helical, worm shafts, and crown gears, as well as other special profiles.
Gear Cutting
We offer 5-axis gear cutting services with quick turnaround times. We utilize two main machines for this: the Gleason Phoenix 400GH and Mitsubishi GE20A. Our machines can cut spur gears, splines, helical gears, and double helical gears. We are capable of undertaking small or large production runs. We have 28 gear hobbers in total.
Gear Shaping
Gear shaping is one of our chief specialities. We have a Gleason Pfauter PSA 500, two Mitsubishi ST40s, and a Mitsubishi SC40. With CNC-controlled helix angle capabilities and quick return strokes, our cycle times for large production runs are greatly improved. In total, we have about 19 gear shapers, capable of the internal shaping on spline, spurs, and helicals, as well as the external shaping of spurs, helicals, and Sykes double helicals.
In general, our facility is stocked with only the best new CNC machines and is considered one of the most technologically advanced in the region.
